He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,800. The registrar has said Brooks can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Brooks has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Brooks would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
