Standing with Juan: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Juan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Móstoles Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Juan is 55, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Móstoles Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,250 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $590
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,000
• Transport to Móstoles Cancer Centre: $460
