Standing with Jordan: colon cancer treatment costs
Supporting Jordan through colon cancer: medication, transport to London Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He can't work.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom283 views
Jordan was diagnosed with colon cancer in December. The oncology team at London Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Jordan is 51, worked as a taxi driver until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to London Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,400
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $630
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,250
• Transport to London Regional Medical Center: $670
