Gazipur
Hasan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in January. The oncology team at Gazipur Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Hasan is 33, worked as a tailor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gazipur Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $170 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Sathi
