Standing with Fatima: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Stellenbosch Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Fatima was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Stellenbosch Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Fatima is 51, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Stellenbosch Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $310
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $195
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,150
• Household costs while unable to work: $295
Thanks for reading all this.

wishing you peace, Clinton. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Johannesburg but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Stellenbosch.
Hang in there. Hope the doctors have good news. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best!
Sending love. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Ciudad de México so I could bring a meal. Blessings
Praying for you, Clinton. Hope the doctors have good news. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
you're not alone, Clinton. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Praying for you, Clinton. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Best of luck, Clinton. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Incheon.
