Standing with Christian: a rare sarcoma treatment costs
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇺🇸 United States477 views
Christian was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in November. The oncology team at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Christian is 42, worked as a bank teller until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,450 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,750
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $920
• Transport to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center: $1,050
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,730
Every share and every dollar helps.
- Sheila

Hope things get better soon, Sheila. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Nashik
Stay strong, Sheila. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Los Angeles.
Good luck, Sheila. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Los Angeles.
