Standing with Bakary: colon cancer treatment costs

Bakary was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Rotterdam University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Bakary is 30, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rotterdam University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Scans and lab work: $1,450
• Transport to Rotterdam University Hospital: $450
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $710
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,490
