Standing with Adriana: cervical cancer treatment costs
Adriana is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Adriana was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February. The oncology team at the Barranquilla Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Adriana is 39, worked as a shop owner until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Barranquilla Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125
• Scans and lab work: $240
• Transport to the Barranquilla Oncology Institute: $185
