Shantel was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in May. The oncology team at the Montego Bay Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Shantel is 34, worked as a shop owner until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Montego Bay Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,150 goes: • Scans and lab work: $450 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,050 • Transport to the Montego Bay Oncology Institute: $370 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Lloyd
