Septoplasty for Antoni: covering what insurance won't
A scheduled septoplasty in July is out of reach without help covering $1,200 of the cost.

Antoni was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in April. The surgeon at Manchester Regional Medical Center recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my husband has been in and out of Manchester Regional Medical Center since April. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Antoni struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Antoni won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Antoni
Sure. The biggest one is travel and lodging for the family, $150. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
