Seo-yeon's final semester of a nursing degree in Seoul
A first-generation student, Seo-yeon needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

Seo-yeon is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Seoul Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,400.
The registrar has said Seo-yeon can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Seo-yeon has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Seo-yeon would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Seo-yeon isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Exam and lab fees: $190
• Textbooks and materials: $160
