Segun needs a communication tablet with eye tracking that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,050.

Segun lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Ikeja Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Segun could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
