Scranton wildfire relief - the Greenfield neighborhood
Neighbors in the Greenfield neighborhood are rebuilding after the wildfire; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The wildfire hit the Greenfield neighborhood on 24 July. My home was one of 74 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $7,700 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,700
• Clean water and purification supplies: $580
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,300
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,550
• Tools and labor for repairs: $2,570
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Ryan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up.
