School supplies and a laptop for Zainab in Karachi
Zainab won a place at Karachi Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Karachi Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
With deep gratitude,
Zainab

Thinking of you and your family, Zainab. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Bellevue.
