I earned a place in Grade 9 at Tarkwa Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love chemistry and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $90
• School uniform and shoes: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thinking of you and your family. Study hard! Greetings from Toronto.
Wishing you peace. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Tarkwa.
Wishing you peace, Theresa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

Hang in there, Theresa. Shared it with a few friends.
