School supplies and a laptop for Joaquín in Los Angeles
Joaquín won a place at Los Angeles Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States826 views
Joaquín earned a place in Year 10 at Los Angeles Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Joaquín loves mathematics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $900 goes:
• Laptop: $660
• School uniform and shoes: $145
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $95
Glad we found this place.
