The gas account is 3 months behind. Efe received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Efe called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available. The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Efe is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
