School supplies and a laptop for Emma in Los Angeles
Emma won a place at Los Angeles Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Los Angeles Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $950, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $950 goes:
• Laptop: $530
• Textbooks and workbooks: $175
• School uniform and shoes: $245
Every share and every dollar helps.
