Saying goodbye to Piper - help with funeral expenses
Madeline lost her sister suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,700.

Piper, my sister, passed away on 29 June after a sudden heart attack. She was 93 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Piper to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Transport of the deceased: $420
• Memorial gathering for the family: $160
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,120
