After the sudden passing of Carol, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Carol, my sister, passed away on 14 September after a road accident. She was 84 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Carol to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,450
• Transport of the deceased: $430
