Saying goodbye to Ayanda - help with funeral expenses
Johan lost his wife suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,300.

Ayanda, my wife, passed away on 19 June after a short illness. She was 86 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ayanda to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Johannesburg hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $730
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $490
• Memorial gathering for the family: $80

Thanks for sharing this, Johan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
