Save Ziggy: Eduardo can't afford the emergency vet
Ziggy, Eduardo's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $1,150.

Ziggy is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 23 August we rushed to Bronx Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,150.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Bronx Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $740
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $150
