Save Ziggy: Anton can't afford the emergency vet
Ziggy, Anton's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $2,550.

Ziggy is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 15 April we rushed to Malmö Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,550.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Malmö Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,350
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $810
• Medication and follow-up visits: $145
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $245
