Save Simba: Howard can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Simba needs emergency surgery - a $1,750 bill the family can't cover.

Simba is my German shepherd of six years. On 10 September we rushed to Los Angeles Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Los Angeles Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $700
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $590
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $240
