Save Poppy: Shireen can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Poppy needs emergency surgery - a $700 bill the family cannot cover.

Poppy is my senior cat of three years. On 15 February we rushed to the Johannesburg Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $700.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Johannesburg Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $490
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $115
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
