Pixel is my German shepherd of nine years. On 4 September we rushed to San Diego Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,850. They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel got me through my hardest year. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Diego Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,850 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $165 • Emergency surgery: $2,150 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $535 Thanks for reading all this.
