Daniel, my husband, passed away on 10 October after a short illness. He was 80 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Daniel to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $1,850 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $250 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,250 • Memorial gathering for the family: $350 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
