Save Pepper: Elaine can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Pepper needs orthopedic surgery - a $900 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 22 January we rushed to Feira de Santana Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $900.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Feira de Santana Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.
Where the $900 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Emergency surgery: $700
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $115
