Keep the gas on at Araba's home in Kumasi
Help Araba cover an overdue gas bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $100. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Araba's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Utility arrears: $80
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $5
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Araba.
Sure. The biggest one is utility arrears, $80. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
You're not alone. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
Praying for you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. All the best
thanks for sharing this, Araba. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
