Save Max: Joshua can't afford the emergency vet
Max, Joshua's cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,650.

Max is my cat of thirteen years. On 22 July we rushed to Boston Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,650.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Max is more than a pet - Max is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $190 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Boston Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $180
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $840
• Emergency surgery: $1,630
