Save Maple: Nora can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Maple needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,150 bill the family cannot cover.

Maple is my German shepherd of three years. On 24 November we rushed to Los Angeles Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,150.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Los Angeles Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $990
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $460
• Medication and follow-up visits: $350
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $350
