Save Maple: Asher can't afford the emergency vet

Maple is my German shepherd of two years. On 28 July we rushed to Orlando Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,000.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $340 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Orlando Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $630
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $150
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
