Save Mango: Grace can't afford the emergency vet
A three-legged dog named Mango needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,650 bill the family can't cover.

Mango is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 1 August we rushed to Lexington Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,650.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Lexington Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,650
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $680
• Medication and follow-up visits: $150
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Johannesburg so I could bring a meal.
