Care for Kagiso, 92: help cover a carer and medication in Cape Town
Help Kagiso stay in her own home with six months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 92. After a stroke last March Kagiso can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kagiso desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Kagiso worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $400 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $140
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $85
• Medication and prescriptions: $175
