Sebastián's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Sebastián won a place at Oakland Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Oakland Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,000, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Laptop: $450
• School uniform and shoes: $210
• Textbooks and workbooks: $260
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Updates from Sebastián
Wanted to say thank you properly. 3% funded and I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
3% there. I made the first payment toward school uniform and shoes. Thank you. - Sebastián
Good news. Because of your gifts ($20 in total) I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
