Save Daisy: Ariana can't afford the emergency vet

Daisy is my tabby kitten of eleven years. On 23 July we rushed to San Antonio Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,850.
They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to San Antonio Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Daisy's recovery.

• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
