Save Biscuit: Christian can't afford the emergency vet

Biscuit is my German shepherd of nine years. On 8 February we rushed to Berlin Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,700. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond April. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Berlin Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,700 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,550 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $750 • Medication and follow-up visits: $85 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $315 If you're reading this, thank you. - Christian
