Archie is my senior cat of three years. On 2 July we rushed to Birmingham Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,700. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Archie is more than a pet - Archie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Birmingham Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,700 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,400 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $150 • Medication and follow-up visits: $150 Every share and every dollar helps.
