Sandesh was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April. The oncology team at Nashik Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Sandesh is 56, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nashik Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
