Sadie needs my food truck repaired to get back to work in Fresno

Without my food truck Sadie can't work; a $650 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $650 goes: • Towing and inspection: $140 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $290 • Labor charges: $220 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Sadie

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. towing and inspection is the biggest at $140.

    • Good luck, Sadie. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

      • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.

        • Best of luck, Sadie. Hope you get there. Don't give up. Take care.
