Sabina needs a communication tablet with eye tracking - help us make it happen
A communication tablet with eye tracking would give Sabina independence - we're $450 away.

Sabina lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Narayanganj General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Sabina could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $450 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $400
• Fitting and training sessions: $15
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $10
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

so sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
Praying for you. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Narayanganj.
How is Sabina doing now?
Sending strength. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hang in there. Hope this works out for you. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
Good luck, Parvin. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
