Ruth needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
A stair-climbing aid would give Ruth independence - we are $600 away.

I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at Leeds General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $100
• Fitting and training sessions: $230
• First-year servicing plan: $270
If you're reading this, thank you.

Praying for you. Wishing Ruth a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Love from Aurangabad.
I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Leeds.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ruth.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. delivery and set-up is the biggest at $100. Let me know if you want more detail.
Good luck, Ruth. Get well soon. After 23 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
