Riley is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Pittsburgh State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,750. The registrar has said Riley can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Riley has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Riley would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Riley isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Pittsburgh State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $3,750 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $160 • Final term tuition: $2,650 • Outstanding tuition balance: $940 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Cameron
