Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Houston
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $2,000 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,000.
It will serve about 549 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Materials: $1,250
• Permits and inspections: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
