I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Bangkok Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150. My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $150 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $55 • Delivery and set-up: $45 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Apichart

  • hang in there, Apichart. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
