Rides to dialysis three times a week for Sébastien in Nîmes

A rota of drivers to the Nîmes Kidney Centre would keep Sébastien on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Sébastien has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Nîmes Kidney Centre alone. After a foot amputation, Sébastien can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way. Sébastien is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
