Rides to dialysis three times a week for Micah in San Jose
A rota of drivers to San Jose General Hospital would keep Micah on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Micah has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to San Jose General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Micah can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way.
Micah is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Sending strength, Julia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Best of luck, Julia. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up. Thinking of San Jose.
Take care, Julia. Your post was clear and honest. After 21 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
