Rides to dialysis three times a week for Jae-hyun in Daegu
A rota of drivers to Daegu General Hospital would keep Jae-hyun on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇰🇷 Daegu, Daegu, South Korea1,636 views
Jae-hyun has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Daegu General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Jae-hyun can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way.
Jae-hyun is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you for reading my story.
