Last July I went through a divorce, and I'm now raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school on my own. I work as a retail cashier, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a pharmacy technician in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Course fees and exam costs: $670
• Rent top-up: $1,100
• Childcare and after-school care: $630
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
Thinking of you and your family, Ricardo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Ludhiana donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Joliet.
