Residency renewal: Ingrid needs $3,750 before the deadline
Ingrid needs $3,750 for filing fees and representation in a residency renewal before the July deadline.

Ingrid is facing a residency renewal. The hearing is scheduled for July, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $3,750. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Ingrid has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at a local immigrant rights clinic has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Ingrid could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $190
• Filing and biometrics fees: $580
• Attorney retainer: $2,980
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Berlin. I'll ask around and let you know!
